FAQ

What buyers ask before the first container

MOQ, samples, documents, glass compatibility and private label — answered the way we would answer on a call, including where the answer is "it depends, send us the spec".

Filmed office glazing

Ordering

MOQ, price and lead time

What is your minimum order quantity?

Quoted per item, because a 1.52 m master roll and a slit 0.9 m roll price differently. Mixed containers are accepted, so a first order can carry several grades at modest quantity each. Send the grades and the destination port for the break points.

How is the price structured?

Per roll, FOB from a major Chinese port, by grade and width. Volume breaks apply per grade, not per order. Cartons, cores, OEM printing and palletisation are quoted as separate lines so you can see what you are paying for.

How long does production take?

It depends on whether the grade is in stock and on the coating schedule. Stock grades move quickly; a custom width or a private-label run is booked into a coating slot. We confirm the date at order rather than quoting a generic number.

What payment terms do you accept?

T/T against a proforma invoice is the default, with the balance released against the bill of lading copy. Terms for repeat buyers are agreed case by case.

Samples & specification

Testing before you commit

Can we get samples before ordering?

Yes — A4 swatches and 30 cm sample rolls, courier at cost. Each sample ships with the datasheet for that construction so your installer can test adhesion, shrink and haze on your own glass.

Do you provide datasheets?

Every series has a datasheet with thickness, roll dimensions, appearance and MOQ. Measured VLT and TSER are issued for the batch where the project needs them — ask before ordering rather than after. For a consultant schedule or tender annex, send the template and we will fill it.

Which grade suits our market?

Hot climates usually take a mirror or reflective film, because it rejects rather than absorbs. Temperate markets often prefer the clear electrostatic film where the glazing appearance matters. Coastal markets care about colour stability; cold markets about condensation on the filmed pane. Tell us the city and the glass and we will shortlist from the eight series we actually run.

Can the film go on low-E or tinted glass?

Usually, with a check. Absorptive film raises the temperature of the filmed pane, which matters on sealed units and on already-tinted glass. Send the build-up — thickness, coating, sealed or monolithic — and we will confirm or decline the combination.

Shipping & documents

Getting it to your warehouse

What documents come with a shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and the REACH declaration. A certificate of analysis is issued per batch on request, and third-party inspection before loading can be arranged at the buyer’s cost.

How is the film packed?

Core-wound and wrapped, cartoned with the batch code on the outside, then palletised and stretch-wrapped for FCL. LCL shipments are crated. OEM cartons and inserts are packed to the approved proof.

Can you ship LCL?

Yes, though film is dense and pallet space is the constraint. For small orders we will quote both LCL and a consolidated pallet so you can compare the landed cost.

What happens if a roll arrives damaged?

Photograph the carton, the batch code and the film before unrolling, and send them within seven days of arrival. Claims settle on those records — which is why the batch code is printed on the outside of every carton.

OEM & brand

Private label and territory

Can you produce under our brand?

Yes. Label, carton, instruction sheet and barcode carry your brand. We approve a printed proof before the run and keep the artwork and a retained sample for repeats.

Do you sell your own brand in our market?

We supply trade buyers and do not run a retail operation in your territory. Our brand is not on the shelf next to yours.

Will a repeat order match the shade?

We schedule repeats from the same formulation and compare against the retained sample from your previous batch. Quote the previous order number when reordering so the file is pulled first.
